Primarily dogs and cats, but I’m happy to discuss care for rabbits, birds, or other critters! Just send me the details.

Yes — I’m certified in Pet First Aid & CPR, and I take that responsibility seriously. While no one ever wants an emergency to happen, I’m prepared if it does. I’ll be paying close attention to your pet’s behavior, energy, and appetite throughout the stay, so I can spot if something seems “off” early on. If there’s ever a concern, I’ll act quickly and communicate with you immediately. Your pet’s health and safety is always my top priority.
I’m happy to handle medications and special routines. Just include the details on your booking intake form and/or have a printed out house/pet guide— a small fee may apply for complex regimens.
I recommend reaching out as early as you can, especially for holidays or weekends — some Holidays I stay in town so might be available. Extra fees would apply, as well as for last minute sits I’m able to accommodate.
A guest room is perfectly fine, or I’m happy to use the master bedroom if that’s what your pets are used to. I just ask that clean bedding and use of linens are provided for the stay. Any linens I use will be washed before I leave, or placed in the washing machine if there isn’t time to run a full cycle. I always aim to leave your home just as you left it — or even a little tidier!
Absolutely — you’ll get plenty! I send regular updates, photos, and videos throughout the stay so you can relax knowing your pets are happy and well cared for. One of the perks of working with me is that I’m a bit of an animal documentarian — you’ll get some amazing candid moments! I also share behind-the-scenes snippets on my Instagram stories @doolittlesits, and many pets eventually get their own feature post. It’s care + content you’ll love.
I totally understand that plans can change. I ask for at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations. For holiday or peak-time bookings, a 50% fee may apply for cancellations within 72 hours due to high demand.
Yes — I’m open to travel sits outside of Central Texas or even out of state! If you’re looking for trusted, in-home care while you’re away from home, I’m happy to discuss arrangements. Travel costs, including my time and transportation, would be added to the base rate, and I’ll provide a custom quote based on your location and trip duration.
